Kropa is a freelance photographer in
New York
, where he shoots news, politics, business and lifestyle images for a number of internationally known publications. Growing up in

Grinnell
College
. In 1999, he moved to
Chicago

Institute
of
Design

His current exhibition, On Immigration, combines images from demonstrations that took place in support of immigration reform in the spring of 2006 with images of daily life among the Hispanic population in
West Liberty
,
Iowa
.
The exhibition and presentation is supported in part by a grant from the Bock Family Foundation. |
