Grammy-nominated singer Greg Brown will perform Saturday, August 25, at 8:30 p.m. at the Perry Events Center.  The concert, part of the Homegrown in Iowa music series presented by Hometown Perry, Iowa and the Perry Cultural District, is also in conjunction with Sentimental Journey VIII, Perry's annual town festival.  Joining Brown on the schedule for the evening will be Pieta Brown and the Kevin Gordon Band.  Doors will open at 6:00 p.m., with Pieta Brown going onstage at 7:00.  Greg Brown’s seasoned songwriting, storytelling, and music are deeply rooted in Iowa.  This will be a ticketed event and fundraiser for next year’s Sentimental Journey.
